Parts

topic posted Tue, February 5, 2008 - 4:02 PM by  Brian
Quick question.
I am a new to bending and was wondering a good place to get parts (switches, pots, LEDs, potentiometers, etc).
Online works, or somewhere in the bay area would be much better.
Also, does anyone have recommended brands of soldering irons / stations.
Thanks for the help.

digikey has everthing, but they are in minnesota so it takes a week to get your stuff.

jameco has a lot of stuff. it's online or you can drive to belmont and pick it up.

al lashers in berkeley or electronics plus in san rafael have lots of stuff.

radioshack is everywhere but it's expensive.

      Thanks Sam.
I live in San Rafael, so I will check out Electronics Plus first.
      I appreciate your help.
